Rising over nine feet, Skyborn is a slender plaster presence built around a steel core. Its open-armed ascent holds stillness and tension, anchored to the earth while reaching toward the sky. Neither fully figurative nor abstract, the sculpture occupies a threshold between body and aspiration, appearing less as a figure than as a presence that has borrowed one. Its scale and posture create a physical encounter between viewer and object, opening a dialogue about ambition, vulnerability, persistence, and the gravitational pull of lived experience.
