Newburgh Open Studios @ ADS Warehouse

We unveiled our new home at ADS Warehouse with a pop-up exhibition in a container — community, conversation and photography in full force.

This past weekend we had the wonderful opportunity to experience our new home and community at ADS Warehouse in Newburgh, New York. During Newburgh Open Studios, we announced that the Pictorial Foundation will be opening its doors here in the New Year — and we could not have felt more welcomed.

Visitors embraced us with open arms. We shared long conversations and introduced them to The Pictorial List, Volume One – New York in a playful pop-up exhibition staged inside a shipping container in the courtyard, just steps from our new space. Large prints, secured with magnets along the steel walls, offered a glimpse of the diverse voices and perspectives featured in the book.

The response was overwhelming. The container filled quickly and stayed full, buzzing with energy, curiosity, and thoughtful dialogue about the artists and their unique ways of defining New York. Guests left inspired and eager to return when our doors officially open.

We look forward to welcoming everyone again in the New Year. With our new space at ADS Warehouse, we are excited to create a vibrant hub where we can build lasting connections, host meaningful conversations, and continue celebrating photography and multimedia arts together with our community.
