I enjoy the challenge of photographing people, people I know and people I don’t. To show a side of themselves they may not have ever seen. To create an image that someone who doesn’t know the sitter would be drawn to.

I do this with lighting and creating a digital profile (selecting what “film” to use). And by making sure my subjects are comfortable and free to be themselves. I never tell someone not to do something in front of my camera. I take as many frames as needed until I feel I captured enough moments. The next and in my opinion the most important step is deciding out all the shots taken which is the best one.
