Begun in 2024, Orange County Queer Collective is a queer & trans-led local organization dedicated to building community for LGBTQ+ residents of Orange County, NY through collective art experiences. OCQC incorporated in February 2025 and received its 501(c)(3) nonprofit status in July 2025. OCQC’s mission is to cultivate community for LGBTQ+ residents of Orange County, NY and their allies through gatherings that prioritize collective visual, literary, and performance art. We unabashedly celebrate trans and queer joy, embrace our beautiful diversity, and provide a space for folks to experience solidarity and the freedom of authenticity.
