Pictorial Foundation will present a series of calls for entry throughout the year, offering artists and photographers opportunities to place their work into shared space and public conversation. These calls are grounded in our commitment to process, context, and the lived relationship between art, maker, and viewer.
We work across both physical and digital platforms. Selected works are presented through exhibitions in our art space as well as online exhibitions, ensuring accessibility beyond physical and geographic boundaries while maintaining thoughtful curatorial care.
In parallel, we feature participating artists through interviews featured on our websites. These conversations focus on practice, lived experience, process, and the conditions that shape creative life — offering a space for reflection, exchange, and a deeper understanding of the artist within their broader social and cultural context.

The Pictorial List first appeared in my social media feed during the Covid-19 pandemic, offering a sense of artistic community at a time of profound isolation. Through their thoughtful profiles, writing, and interviews, I was introduced to the work of artists and creatives from across the globe. Their digital publications and their first physical book, The Pictorial List: Volume One — New York, are exceptional works both about and in service of art. This vision is now expanding into The Pictorial Foundation, with a permanent physical space in Newburgh, NY. The foundation being built is one of generosity, curiosity, and creative exchange — and it continues to grow.

I’m excited to see what comes next.
