The Pictorial Foundation invites women and gender-expansive artists to submit work for CODE GIRL, a curated multimedia exhibition presented as part of Women in Public Space.

Abstract black and white art of a figure with obscured face in foreground, thin brushstrokes depict a landscape and distant figure, evokes solitude.

The Pictorial Foundation invites women and gender-expansive artists to submit work for CODE GIRL, a curated multimedia exhibition presented as part of Women in Public Space.

If the mural commission is the declaration, CODE GIRL becomes the expansion. The exhibition considers GIRL as structure, language, and blueprint for visibility, asking how artists reclaim space, authorship, and leadership through image, gesture, and form.

Artists working across drawing, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, textiles, installation, film, video, animation, and expanded media are encouraged to apply. Selected works will be exhibited within the Pictorial ArtSpace alongside the mural commission, extending the dialogue between public art and gallery space.
